There is such a thing as a free lunch! We're being treated today for our work on the re-appraisal. SO actually packed me lunch this morning, but my pb&j with frozen bananas will have to wait until tomorrow.
This Saturday, we are throwing an impromptu housewarming party. It will probably be about 10 people. Any suggestions on frugal, delicious servings? SO mentioned a couple of his friends will probably bring something along, but I feel like we should have some sort of entree/food available as his friends always feed us full meals when they have us over.

One bottle of Chili Sauce, one bag of frozen meatballs, and half a jar of grape jelly. Crockpot on high for 1 hour, and then low for 2 hours. So good!
You can eat them on toothpicks, or in my house we eat them on hoagies with cheese.

Frito lays (or generic), beans, shredded cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions, sour cream, etc. Everyone makes their own haystack so it has just what they like and nothing else. It's an SDA potluck or Sabbath lunch standby.

2nd choice is oven baked Mac 'n cheese with buttered crumb topping.
